Major Risk Factors for Kidney Disease – Below are diseases that cause Kidney Disease. Some of these factors we can control throughout our lives: like High Blood Pressure, High Blood Sugar. The 2 leading causes of Kidney Disease are Hypertension and Diabetes. If kept under control you may not get Kidney Disease. Some diseases we cannot prevent from happening, like family history and/or hereditary.
